You Get What You Accept – What Are You Having In 2014?

One of the great ironies of life is that you control what you manifest in your life but it’s likely that you’re either not using it or not aware of it.

The responsibility that comes with that power is awesome, as it contains both risk and reward. Your clarity and conscious focus determine where your energy flows and the outcomes of it.

There is a direct correlation between what you think you can have and what you actually experience. For example, many people want to become millionaires – with a $20,000 mindset. The result is that your outcome will be congruent with what your mind believes is possible for you.

If you have, up until now, experienced less than what you desire, it’s important to consider the following:

1. Where are you incongruent between what you value and what you actually live in your life?

Your values are the invisible filters you use daily in perceiving the information around you and from which you take action. For an extreme example, if you value love but do not give nor receive it regularly, you are incongruent between what you value and how you live your life. Get clear on your values and then look at how they are expressing in your life to have more of what you want in your life.

2. Where are you tolerating situations, relationships or career restrictions?

If you are putting up with things that irk you, cause a subtle friction or plain out make you feel small, marginalized or minimized, you must take new action to resolve those situations. This is a vital step because you cannot expand if you are in a state of contraction. Make a list of the things you are tolerating in your life and use it as a checklist to make progress on resolving them one at a time.

3. What restrictions do you place upon yourself in small ways?

If you find that you limit your choices, options and/or behaviors, consider the reasons you have for doing so. Energy is very literal – it does not judge motivation but, rather, follows the path of least resistance. Energy is a two-way connection – the amount of energy you give is the amount that you will be able to receive. If you find that you are restricting yourself (either giving or receiving energy), including in small, hardly noticeable ways like receiving a compliment, you are slowing or blocking manifestation in your life. See where you are restricting yourself to make new choices for 2014.

Lastly, know that what you will not accept can no longer be in your life. It is as simple as that. When you quit allowing that which doesn’t serve you, it cannot exist in your life any longer.

Even more, when you set the stage to receive more for yourself through intention, you create the opportunity to attract and experience more of what you want. Decide what you want – AND what you are willing to accept, measured against what you truly believe – in order to have it.

May 2014 be y/our best year yet!

    Hi, Lynn-

This is exactly what I need right now. The line that really hit me is: “When you quit allowing that which doesn’t serve you, it cannot exist in your life any longer.”
I know this is true – I’ve seen it in my relationships. When I decided I had to be treated better, the problematic relationships changed or moved out of my life. It’s a huge shift – one I’m grateful you helped me appreciate.
Now I’m thinking about this relative to abundance – Thank you!
    Expecting greater things in 2014-
    Amy
